Who we are

What these terms cover

These terms apply when you browse table42.club. The website introduces a friend-meetup product that is still being prepared. It does not currently create a paid membership, sell meetup tickets or guarantee access to the app.

Table42 is for adults. You must be at least 18 to use the member product when access opens.

The waitlist, and what replaced it

There was a waitlist on this website until 27 August 2026. It is closed, nobody new is added, and a place on it never was a promise of admission, a launch date, availability in your city, a particular venue or a successful meetup. What replaced it is a member account you create yourself and then wait to be accepted. The only page that takes an email address now is that signup, and it is covered by the member terms rather than by these.

If you signed up before the list closed, your entry stays where it is under the privacy statement until you ask us to remove it, and you can ask at any time. Confirmation links we had already sent still work; clicking one confirms your address and does nothing else.

Use the website fairly

Please do not misuse the website or make it worse for other people.

• Do not interfere with the site, its security or the confirmation links we sent while the waitlist was open.
• Do not submit someone else's email address or misleading information.
• Do not scrape, automate or copy the service in a way that harms Table42 or other visitors.
• Do not use the site for anything unlawful.

Our content

The Table42 name, design and original website content belong to Table42 or are used with permission. You may link to the public website and quote short passages with attribution. You may not present our identity or content as your own.

Availability and changes

This is an early service. We may change, pause or stop parts of the website. We will not describe an experiment, planned feature or venue as available when it is not.

If future features create a new agreement, such as a member account or a meetup ticket purchase, we will show the applicable terms before you accept or pay. We will not treat ordinary continued browsing as acceptance of a materially different contract.

Links and venues

The website may link to other services, including the separate Table42 website for venues. External websites have their own terms and privacy practices. A reference to a venue does not by itself mean that the venue has agreed to partner with Table42.

Responsibility

We take reasonable care with the website, but an early informational site may be unavailable or contain mistakes. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded, or limits any mandatory rights you have under Dutch or EU law.

These current terms do not govern an in-person meetup. The member service is not open through this website yet, so its conduct, safety, cancellation and account rules will be stated before access begins.

Dutch law and questions

Dutch law applies to these terms. If you are a consumer, this does not take away mandatory protections that apply where you live. If something is unclear or you have a complaint, contact us first so we can try to resolve it directly.
