I’m Tim Gelhard, and I’m building Table42 on my own in Utrecht. I keep seeing how much of life happens online, while meeting someone new in person can still feel like a big step. I want to make that step simpler: a shared interest, a local café or lunch spot, and a time you choose together. Those places already belong to our neighbourhoods; with their support, new friendships could become part of everyday life. I’m building the product with help from AI and getting to know local venues.
